Archive for the ‘saltwater flies’ Category

I got few fly pictures from Mika Oraluoma who has tied few saltwater flies for his trip to South Pacific. These flies are actually being tested now at New Zealand and within few weeks at Cook Islands as well. I have been told by several fly fishers that Cook Islands are well know by very nice sized Bonefish. Ten pound bonefish is very common catch there. These three flies should be the “top three” there as Mika says. You can follow Mika’s and his new wife’s trip here.

This one is called Kung Fu Crab and it is tied on Sakuma 410 size 1 stainless saltwater hook.
